Training Participation Policy

Last updated 19 June 2026 · Version 1.1

This policy covers what our trainings are — and what we ask of everyone who takes part. It reflects how we teach: think before you treat.

Education, not certification

Our trainings develop your knowledge and procedural skill. They do not certify you as competent or authorised to perform any specific treatment on patients, and nothing in them is medical advice for an individual patient. You remain fully responsible for your own clinical decisions — for working within your competence, scope of practice and registration, for obtaining valid informed consent, and for following the laws and guidelines that apply to you.

Techniques, devices and products we discuss may carry risks and are regulated differently in different countries; always follow the manufacturer's instructions, and don't proceed if you're unsure a technique is right for a given patient. To the extent permitted by law, EuroThetic accepts no liability for how training content is applied in your practice.

Code of conduct

Our trainings are small and hands-on, and a respectful, safe environment is what makes them work. We ask everyone to:

  • treat faculty, staff, models and fellow participants with respect;
  • act with honesty and professional integrity;
  • protect the dignity, confidentiality and consent of every patient and model;
  • follow all safety, hygiene and venue instructions from the faculty;
  • work only within their competence during hands-on sessions;
  • never engage in harassment, discrimination or disruptive behaviour.

We may ask anyone who seriously breaches this, or compromises safety, to leave a training without a refund.

Confidentiality and images

Trainings may include case discussion and live or recorded demonstrations. Please keep confidential any patient or model information you encounter, and don't record, photograph or share it without permission. Where models or patients take part, we obtain their informed consent.

We may take photographs or video during trainings for educational and promotional purposes, and will ask for your consent before using any image in which you're identifiable — you can withdraw that consent for future use at any time via info@eurothetic.com. Please don't film or photograph sessions, faculty or fellow participants without our prior written permission.
